Without only works if people write honestly and treat each other decently. These aren't decorative. We enforce them.
One account, your real first name, your real age. No invented personas, no accounts run on someone else's behalf. Under-18 accounts are removed immediately and reported where required.
Don't paste someone else's bio, don't run your profile through a bot to sound like someone you're not. The entire product is people meeting each other's actual minds. Faking that isn't clever, it's just a longer waste of everyone's evening.
Don't ask anyone for money, gifts, crypto, investments, "help with a flight", or a look at an "opportunity". If someone asks you - report them, don't send anything. This is the most common way people get hurt on dating apps, and we ban for it on the first offence.
No unwanted sexual content, no pestering, no "why aren't you replying". If someone stops writing, that's your answer. Unmatching is not an insult; it's a boundary.
Don't screenshot, share, publish or forward anyone's messages, voice notes or revealed photos. Whatever someone showed you, they showed you. We block copying and screenshots where we technically can - but the rule is the rule regardless.
Nothing that attacks people for who they are - race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. No threats, no stalking, no pile-ons.
No sex work, escorting, advertising, recruiting, promoting a business, or driving people to another platform. No links - they're blocked, and trying to smuggle them past the filter is a breach in itself.
Photos and voice notes need two yeses, and that's not friction we're going to remove. If someone pushes you to reveal, to move to WhatsApp, or to meet before you're ready - that pressure is the signal. Take the time you need.
Every profile and chat has Report & block with a reason. It's one tap, it's anonymous to the person reported, and it's read by a human. Blocking is immediate and permanent - they never see you again. For anything urgent, email safety@without.photos. If you're in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Banned means banned - we keep a record precisely so people can't come back with a new email.
If we removed something and you think we were wrong, write to safety@without.photos. A person will look at it again.
Record alone. No other recognisable voice, no conversation, nobody audible in the background. You can consent to your own voice being on Without; you cannot consent on behalf of someone who does not know they were recorded. A recording with another person audible is deleted, and we will tell you why.
It is an introduction, not a channel. No advertising, no promotion of anything, no hate speech or abuse. Reported or detected, that removes the recording; for anything serious it removes the account.
